All text, images, graphics, audio files, animations, videos, software, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, layouts, and other materials available on the Platform are owned by J Rental or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may access and use such materials only for personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with your lawful use of the Platform. You must not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, publish, transmit, display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any Platform content without J Rental’s prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

In connection with your use of the Platform and the car rental services, J Rental may collect, use, disclose, store, and otherwise process your personal data, including identity information, contact information, driver’s license information, booking and payment information, vehicle usage information, location-related information where applicable, and other information necessary for account registration, booking management, payment processing, customer support, insurance, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service improvement. J Rental will process personal data in accordance with its Personal Data Protection Policy and applicable personal data protection laws. Please review our Privacy Policy at www.j-rental.com/privacy-policy for further details regarding the categories of personal data processed, purposes and legal bases of processing, disclosure to third parties, cross-border transfer, retention period, security measures, and your rights as a data subject.

Where a rental vehicle is fitted with a GPS, telematics, or similar device, J Rental will inform you before the start of the rental of the location or usage data collected, the purposes of collection (which are limited to vehicle safety and security, theft prevention and recovery, insurance claims, and legal compliance), and the retention period. Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes notified to you or as required by law. You may exercise your rights as a data subject, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, data portability, and withdrawal of consent, by contacting us or the Data Protection Officer as specified in our Privacy Policy

You may use the Platform to pay rental rates, deposits, insurance charges, excess charges, penalties, administrative fees, delivery or pick-up charges, fuel or charging costs, cleaning fees, damage charges, late return fees, tolls, fines, and other amounts notified to you before or at the time of booking or otherwise incurred under the applicable rental agreement. All applicable charges must be clearly displayed or otherwise notified to you before you confirm a booking, except for charges that arise after the rental period or from your breach of the rental agreement, including vehicle damage, traffic fines, late return, loss of keys or accessories, or other additional costs. Payment transactions may be recorded in your account history. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the applicable charges before confirming payment. You authorize J Rental and its authorized payment service providers, insurers, debt collection service providers, and other relevant third parties to process payment and transaction information as necessary for billing, collection, refund, dispute management, insurance claims, enforcement of contractual obligations, and compliance with applicable laws.

Prices displayed on the Platform are stated in Thai Baht and include value added tax and all compulsory charges, unless otherwise clearly indicated before you confirm a booking. Any charge that is not displayed or notified to you before confirmation will not be collected, except for charges arising after the rental period or from your breach of the rental agreement.

J Rental accepts payment by credit or debit card and by QR code or bank account transfer through payment service providers licensed under the applicable laws. J Rental does not store your full card number or card security code; card data is handled by the licensed payment service provider. Where payment is made by QR code or bank account transfer, the booking is confirmed only after payment is verified, and you should retain the payment confirmation issued through the Platform.

Where a security deposit or a pre-authorization hold on your card is required, the amount, the purpose, and the expected release or refund period will be notified to you before you confirm the booking. J Rental will release the pre-authorization or refund the deposit, less any amount lawfully deducted, within 15 days after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

Refunds will be made through the original payment channel within 15 days from the date the refund is approved, unless another period is agreed with you or required by law. J Rental will issue a receipt or tax invoice for each payment in accordance with applicable law.

Each car rental booking is subject to the vehicle availability, rental period, rental location, driver eligibility requirements, pricing, insurance coverage, cancellation terms, deposit requirements, and other conditions displayed on the Platform or specified in the applicable rental agreement. You must provide accurate and complete information, hold a valid driver’s license and any other required authorization, comply with traffic laws, use the vehicle with reasonable care, and return the vehicle on time and in the agreed condition. You are responsible for losses, damages, fines, penalties, fees, and expenses arising from your use or possession of the vehicle where these are caused by your fault, negligence, or breach of the rental agreement to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable rental agreement. Refunds, cancellations, extensions, and early returns will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking conditions, rental agreement, and applicable consumer protection laws. The cancellation deadlines and any cancellation fee applicable to your booking will be displayed before you confirm the booking, and no cancellation fee that was not so displayed will be charged.

Any administrative fee charged in connection with traffic fines, tolls, damage assessment, late return, or loss of keys or accessories will be charged only at the rate published on the Platform or in the rental agreement at the time of booking, and J Rental will provide supporting evidence of the underlying charge on request.

J Rental will exercise reasonable care in operating the Platform and providing the car rental services. J Rental is liable for damage caused by its own fault, negligence, or breach of contract in accordance with applicable law.

Except as stated above, J Rental is not liable for interruption, suspension, or unavailability of the Platform caused by scheduled maintenance, telecommunication or internet failure, or other causes beyond its reasonable control, provided that J Rental takes reasonable steps to restore the service and that your rights in respect of a confirmed booking are not affected.

Enquiries received outside these hours will be handled on the next business day. Roadside assistance and emergency contact numbers, where provided, operate on the hours stated in the applicable rental agreement.
